Chris Kattner is a professional Photographer with a background in the fine arts. He specializes in high concept imagery that holds a strong narrative. His images have an other-worldly effect that transports the viewer to another place. Chris can serve as artistic director and create unique concepts for your project or you can let his execution bring your concepts to life.
After graduation from the Fine Arts Department at the University of Victoria, where he studied writing, drawing and film production, Chris relocated to Vancouver. There he worked for British Columbia’s largest photographic supplies dealer, while attending classes at Langara College, Western Canada’s top photography school. Meanwhile, he launched his career as a commercial and fashion photographer with clients such as Komakino, as well as, shooting for theatre companies such as Theatre Conspiracy and Itsazoo Productions. A few years later Chris left Canada to spend four years living and working in Guangzhou, China. There he was a part of the ITR Creatives and worked on shoots for many Chinese clothing brands. Chris’ work has been featured in many magazines, online and in print, including Mint Magazine Huf Magazine Blum magazine Nord Magazine and others. Now he has returned to Canada and is working in Vancouver and Kelowna.
